The five FMUs in Southland are Aparima, Fiordland and Islands, Mataura, Oreti, Waiau.  <\/SPAN><\/P><P><SPAN /><\/P><P><SPAN>A freshwater management unit (FMU) is a concept used nationally to plan and manage freshwater.
